Journal of Sport History Best Article of the Year
In 2015, NASSH decided to acknowledge the Best Article for each yearly edition of the Journal of Sport History. A team of 15 NASSH members read the first twenty years of the Journal from 1974 until 1994 and have chosen the Best Article for each year. Murray Phillips, the editor of the Journal of Sport History, is deeply grateful to all those who devoted considerable time, energy, and expertise to this demanding task. This process will continue next year, with more reviewers required, to bring the Award up until the present time culminating in a single Award presented each year at the NASSH Banquet, similar to the NASSH book prizes.
